In the deepest corners of the warehouse, there exists The Hermit Kingdom, a secluded fiefdom ruled by a pair of veteran workers who have effectively seceded from the rest of the Maxpak collective. Within this insular territory, management’s influence evaporates, replaced by a rigid, unspoken code known only to the two who dwell there. They operate in a rhythmic, ancient synchronization, moving through the stacks with a level of autonomy that the overseers can neither penetrate nor replicate.
